  We have developed a separate care boarding model that benefits all dogs but is crucial for serving our specialty: dogs who are reactive or aggressive towards other dogs. With different levels of separate care every dog’s needs are met. Ranging from completely separate care for dogs who are upset by seeing or hearing other dogs all the way to the other end of the spectrum, minimal separation where dogs can have parallel playtime, parallel walks, and even off leash interactions with one of our neutral resident dogs.

  Since 2018 we have offered professional dog boarding and provided highly individualized care. With a 24/7 on site team of four knowledgeable handlers, we can accommodate multiple groups or single dogs separately while maintaining a calm and quiet home, comfortable for all. ‍ ‍What is included in the base rates for boarding:

• Complete separation from other dogs or parallel social opportunities, depending on your dog’s preferences and eligibility

• Comfortable in-home accommodations: each dog sleeps in a kennel in a room with a member of our team or a nearby room with audio/video monitoring overnight

• Lots of quality time engaging with a member of our team, dogs are supervised the majority of each day with the exception being mid-day nap and short kennel breaks as necessary

• Any diet and up to three times per day meals using your dog’s food from home as well as any supplements or treats you would like included

• Most forms of medications and medication administration up to three times per day

• All on-site exercise, walks, outdoor time, enrichment, and activities

• Every other or every third day updates usually including photos as well as immediate updates if there are any concerns

• Access to other services, only available to boarding clients: daycare, drop off grooming, at home nail trims, transportation to and from boarding, grooming, off-site adventure, off-site mini structed adventures, and a special promotion each month

• Priority booking and increased availability: we prioritize established boarding clients over new clients, and we only accept established clients for holidays or busy periods

Requirements for all dogs:

• Must be up to date on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis

• Must be kennel trained for nighttime and a mid-day nap

• Must be safe to handle and care for by at least two members of our experienced team

So long as the above criteria is met, we can accommodate any of the following:

• Dogs with any level of selectivity, reactivity, or aggression towards other dogs

• Dogs with reactivity towards people - so long as we can complete our slow introduction process

• Dogs who are nervous or fearful in new environments or around new people

• Dogs with any level of bite history towards people or animals - so long as adequate management is in place

• Dogs who have been officially labeled dangerous - so long as county requirements are followed

• Dogs who have medical complexities including complex medications or treatments, increased need for monitoring, chronic conditions, etc.
