Boarding
At Just Peachy Pet Care we pride ourselves on a “home away from home” environment that dogs can settle into quickly for their stay. We do our best to replicate their everyday life, both through scheduled meal times and with familiar activities including fetch, a walk, and of course plenty of time with us humans to hang out or nap on the sofa. It’s important to us that your dog enjoys their stay, so we make sure to offer engaging activities that stimulate their mind and keep them happy. While most of our boarding dogs prefer to be solo and we no longer offer play groups we do offer parallel play in the form of walks, outings, training, and hang out time with or in proximity to other dogs. We prioritize calm and neutral interactions over playtime. As dog owners ourselves, we want you to have peace of mind knowing your furry friends are happy and healthy, so we make sure to update owners throughout their dogs stay.
Activities
For the active and adventurous pups, we offer a number of activities to keep them occupied and entertained. This of course includes all of the toys on site, provided they’re size appropriate, physical exercise such as a walk around the property, a dip in the pond, or a romp through the creek (weather permitting), and brain workouts like puzzle toys or hide and seek, both with staff or a familiar toy to sniff out. If you know your dog has a specific interest, feel free to let us know what they love. We’re always happy to fill up their Kong toy or throw around the frisbee! We also offer off site adventures such as hikes, nature trails, beach trips, and more as add on services!
